Taiyo Ink to Setup PCB-use Ink Production Base in Zhongshan, China

Japan-based Taiyo Ink will be investing in a PCB-use ink production plant in Linhai Industrial Park in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province in China. The registered capital of this project is US$2.5 million and the total investment is US$30 million. With the completion of the project, the plant's turnover is expected to reach Rmb 700 million.
Established in 1953, Taiyo Ink set up a plant with a 3,000-ton annual capacity in Suzhou, China, in 2003, which was the company's fourth overseas production base apart from those in the U.S., Korea and Taiwan. In 2006, the company's market share reached 50 percent.
